I think everyone is going a little bit overboard about worrying about this ball coming up. It's just a ball, and it'll be fun if we don't take it all too seriously. It might be a little bit strange, but it isn't going to be bad. I think calming down would be a good idea. The girls are going mad in my dormroom. I wish they would all just calm down. And stop glaring at me for asking Kosta, he's one of my bestmates what did they expect?
My Mum told me I had to wear a nice dress, not something too much, but not something too nice. I think she's going mad actually. Maybe she's just happy that I'm not going alone. I don't know.

I guess a dance could at least be interesting. But I don't like the girls choice thing at all. I'd rather not have to worry about any of it, or have my sister bother me about who I'm going to ask.

You know everyone always talks about how weird it'll be, or how nice it'll be to get home. It never fully hits me until a day into actually being back. It is kind of nice to be back though, I am actually ready for OWLs year, it just sort of feels like the closer you get to it and the closer you are to dealing with it the better. It's nice to actually be here though.

I can't believe we only have four days left until school starts. I can't decide if I am excited or not. Getting back to Quidditch will be really nice though. This summer sort of went really slow. Maybe it's just me that thinks that... But it just has.
Mum was telling me I should get out and see my friends some more because it's always good to see them outside of school. I think she was saying that because she was talking to Alicia and Angelina the other day. They are really weird Mums. Dad seemed to agree it'd be a good idea.
So Kosta? You free? I might as well obey this wish of my parents, besides it could be worse, they could be asking me to do the dishes or something.
